Why Both Temperatures?
Canadian kitchens genuinely mix both units. Many ovens and air fryers sold here default to Fahrenheit, while recipes from Quebec, Europe and much of the internet use Celsius, and packaging often shows both. Every Canadian guide on this site gives both, so you never have to convert mid-cook. For a full oven-recipe conversion, the Oven to Air Fryer Converter works in either unit.
Shopping Notes
Frozen foods sold in Canada come in two kinds that cook very differently: raw products (often labelled “raw” or “uncooked”, like many frozen chicken wings and breasts), which must reach a safe internal temperature, and fully cooked products that only need reheating. Always check the label. Many Canadian packages now include air fryer directions, which are a good starting point. For vegetables, buying in season (asparagus in spring, corn and zucchini in summer, squash and Brussels sprouts in fall) gives the best flavour and value, and frozen vegetables air fry well straight from the bag through the winter.
More Recipes
Most recipes on the main site work just as well in Canada; use the ยฐF/ยฐC table on the Canada home page if a recipe only gives Celsius. Popular picks include chicken thighs, salmon, baked potatoes, pumpkin seeds (perfect after Halloween carving) and desserts.
